    Job Description Job Description Civil Construction Project ManagerStrata is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Civil Construction Project Manager. The Civil Construction Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of our construction projects from start to finish.

    The Civil Construction Project Manager's duties will include management of other construction and management staff, support of field and office-based project work, coordination with owners and engineers.

    This position will focus on municipal, FAA, USACE or DOT, but may lead other construction projects as needed.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Manage and lead civil construction projects of all sizesAssist project staff in their dutiesWork closely with Project owners, engineers, construction engineers and superintendentsEnsure adherence to Safety policiesEnsure adherence to Quality Control and Quality Assurance programsReport, track, and resolve non-conformance issues in coordination with QA/QCReview and adhere to environmental management planReview task budget, set and track productivityExecute work plans for the construction activitiesImplement of basic layout, and field measurementsTrack Request For Information (RFls)

    Update 'as built' drawingsTrack, and resolve punch list itemsPrepare task completion reportsPrepare basic take offMinimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in related fieldCivil Construction experience with municipalities, DOT, or FAAEffective leadership and mentoring skills.

    Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skillsDemonstrates the ability to be organized and work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities.

    Consistently produces results that meet goals, has high work standards, and understands the business environment and processesAchieves results by problem solving, setting priorities and organization; understands the fundamentals of project managementDemonstrates good communication through active listening, presentation skills and effective verbal and written skillsWorks hard and efficiently within a team to achieve group goals; takes the interests of others into consideration when taking action and is respected and trusted by othersProven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio).


    Compensation:


    Compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experienceMust possess current valid driver license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
