    Job SummaryThe Financial Analyst/Business Partner will partner with the client's manufacturing operations leaders on key strategic projects.

    This position will collaborate with leadership to implement Key Performance Indicators, leveraging and improving upon existing metrics, and identifying business trends through related measurement and analysis.

    This position will also analyze historical spending trends, evaluate different scenarios and help the business team understand potential trade-offs.

    Additionally, providing the team with the tools they need to effectively forecast in the short- mid- and long-term will also be critical.

    This position is rife with opportunity to make an impact both at a direct financial level and indirectly through the influencing of processes and policy.

    Duties and Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsActs as lead finance business partner to product manufacturing operations leadership providing financial outlook and performance, actively participating in cross-functional meetings and presenting relevant reporting and documents to all levels of managementPrepare, maintain and develop key insights resulting from KPIs generated in collaboration with manufacturing operations and finance leadershipParticipates in preparation of annual financials budgets and updated financial projections as needed to track performance and outlook of projectsPrepares actual to budget/forecast variance analysis including identification of headcount, operating, outsourcing and expense savings opportunities, and provides actionable recommendations to manufacturing operations leadership as well as identification of potential risks, meanwhile encouraging accountability for achieving forecasted/plan resultsPerform sensitivity analysis around key assumptions to provide guidance around potential outcomesEngages in monthly reviews, providing financial insights to key drivers of change and ensuring results are well understood by decision makersCollaborates with manufacturing to make recommendations for scalable business solutions related to planning and budgetingActs as liaison between business team and accounting department ensuring transactions are appropriately accounted for in the financialsPerforms ad hoc financial analysis as requestedInforms, maintains, and validates reporting tools for manufacturing leadership analysisWorking on multiple projects at a time, this role will focus on the details while simultaneously working to take on high level/big picture challengesQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
