    Description

    Risk Services of Louisiana, a Leavitt Group affiliate, is looking for an experience Benefits Account Manager to work remotely within the State of Houston or Louisiana.

    This position provides client support in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and quality of work.

    An Account Manager must possess a strong sense of commitment, drive, enthusiasm, and communication/documentation skills.

    ResponsibilitiesMaintain day to day client relationships, including overall account managementMaintain relationships with internal co-workers and vendorsDaily management of Activities/RecordsDocument activities and materials in agency operating systemClaim resolution, billing, and eligibility issues (if no Account Coordinator)Prepare, review & manage annual service calendar, if applicable (if no Account Coordinator)Manage client deliverablesManage the entire marketing process (e.g., census audit, Request/RFP, Rate Analysis template, checking in quotes, analyze proposals, negotiate terms)Quality Control (QC) presentations created by Account Coordinator and/or create client ready presentationsOversee the Implementation and Annual Enrollment processesAnnual enrollment presenterUpdate agency operating system as neededCheck-in/QC documents (e.g., SPD, contract) for accuracy, suggest changes when neededRun carrier reports as needed and update financial analysis reportsPresent strategic initiatives to Account Executive and/or ProducerProvide compliance guidanceManage 5500 filingsPrepare client financial statements, including mid-year reports to be delivered by Producer and/or Account ExecutiveRespond to all calls and emails within 1 business dayPerform special projects as neededPosition RequirementsKnowledge of federal and state regulationsAdvanced Excel skillsExceptional communication skill both written and oralAbility to handle confidential information with maximum discretionAbility to work independently and on a team within a fast-paced environmentStrong follow-up skillsDemonstrate good judgment while managing projects, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines with a sense of urgencyDetail oriented, organized, efficient and proactiveExcellent interpersonal and presentation skillsHigh level of accountability and flexibilitySelf-starter with a high degree of emotional staminaHigh touch client orientationStrong analytical and quantitative skillsDelegation skillsFlexible to work outside of normal working hoursTravel on an as needed basis; overnight stay requiredL&H Insurance licenseBenefitsRisk Services of Louisiana offers a competitive salary between (85 K- 100K) and an attractive benefits package that includes a health plan and a 401 K with company matching, vacation time, accrued sick time, a Flexible Spending Account, and a Wellness program.
