- Performs all grant related post-award functions according to the terms and conditions of the sponsor, including, award setup and update, budget and expense analysis, monthly invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Responsible for communicating with investigators and department administrators regarding financial management of sponsored projects and funds, including spending versus budget, unbilled and billed amounts, aged receivables, collection items
- Meets with department administrators and/or principal investigators on a regular basis to review status of accounts.
- Financial closeout functions including reconciliation of the grant, preparation and submission of financial reports, invoicing and AR follow-up.
- Assists in supporting internal and external sponsor audits and managing supporting documentation and liaising with department staff to meet audit needs.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Finance Analyst will support research and sponsored programs. The Analyst will act as the financial contact for department administrators, principal investigators and central research administration related to monitoring, controlling, and reporting of grants and contracts. The Finance Analyst is responsible for monitoring and communicating about the fiscal management of grants and contracts in accordance with government regulations, donor requirements, and all policies.
