Job summary
The Patient Safety Attendant position at Hackensack University Medical Center involves staying close to patients at all times, contacting nurses if leaving the bedside, and completing observation records. The role requires assisting with hygiene, toileting, and reporting unusual behavior or comments. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, medical terminology knowledge preferred.Responsibilities
- Stays no more than arms length away from the patient at all times.
- Contact nurse if need to leave patient's bedside for any reason - never leave patient alone or with friend/family member unless directed by registered nurse.
