Job Title

Senior Business System Analyst for Inmate Tracking and Records Systems

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business System Analyst to provide critical support for our Inmate Tracking System (ITS) and Inmate Records Information System (IRIS) projects. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Research and understand project requirements, including scope, business needs, and technical specifications.
Develop interfaces for ITS project, collaborating with stakeholders to create specifications, design documents, and conduct data compliance reviews.
Implement multifactor authentication, active directory integration, and single sign-on as needed for ITS project.
Support operational readiness review, training users, and conducting device testing.
Complete tasks assigned for IRIS project validation, business analysis documentation, and user acceptance testing.

Required Skills and Abilities

Minimum 2 years of experience as a senior business system analyst in large-scale projects.
Proven experience working in the Public, Safety, and Justice domain as a senior business analyst.
Strong business analysis skills, including Waterfall and Agile principles.
Excellent project management, data analysis, and technical security knowledge.
Proficiency in MSSQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerBI.
Experience in data migration and system integration.
Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills.

Desired Qualifications

Four-year college degree in Information Technology or seven years of relevant work experience.
Business Analysis certification, such as CBAP or CPRE.
