Overview

Tyndale has a new opportunity for an Embroidery Machine Operator to work full time on our 2nd shift from 2:30pm-11:00pm, M-F, in our Distribution Center located in Bucks County, PA. In this role, the Embroidery Machine Operator will be responsible for operating an industrial embroidery machine and performing all responsibilities that coincide with embroidering a garment. This person must have great attention to detail, be able to work with computer systems, and have the desire to create accurate and individualized garments for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity in a growing apparel company with potential for advancement.

Responsibilities

Determine what logo is supposed to be embroidered on garment by viewing the pick ticket; Find correct logo in workbook;
Input logo into embroidery machine using floppy disk/USB Drive;
Trace logo design on garment;
Verify that alignment of hoop is correctly placed on garment; Pay close attention to machine to ensure that it is functioning properly;
Look at finished embroidered garment (while still hooped) to verify quality;
Work with embellishments supervisor to resolve any issues arising with machines;
Hoop Garments;
Communicate with team members; Perform other duties and projects as assigned;

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent;
Possess basic computer knowledge;
Excellent attention to detail;
Ability to focus and remain attentive;
Possess knowledge of fabrics and their characteristics is preferred, but not required;
Embroidery Machine operating experience preferred, but not required;
Capable of lifting up to 20lbs without assistance;
Ability to work well with team members and is personable;
