- Load and unload freight trucks as materials arrive at the warehouse
- Inspect and sort materials that is received at the warehouse
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized, ensuring safety standards
- Pull materials and prepare for delivery to the work site at least 24 hours prior to start of project
- Label and track outgoing materials from stock
- Track and organize incoming materials paperwork accurately and timely
- Performs an inventory of all stock materials as needed
- Reports any issues to the warehouse and scheduling supervisor to ensure any materials issues are resolved in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Deliver materials to job sites, when needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Must hold an unrestricted driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
- Experience using tools such as forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, razor knife and shrink wrap
- Knowledge of hardwood, carpet or other flooring is a plus
- Must be able to self-motivate and problem-solve
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize different projects and stay on schedule
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prolonged periods of standing, lifting, loading, unloading and maneuvering heavy materials
- Work will be performed in a warehouse or construction site setting that may include being inside, outside and with various weather and temperature conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Job will generally work 7:30 am-4:30 pm, but may vary depending on business needs
- Must have reliable transportation to ensure you are able to get to and from work each day on time.
