    The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis, Health located in Sacramento, California, seeks to fill a full-time Academic Plastic Surgeon position with a specialty in Breast and Microsurgery.

    The position is being recruited at the assistant or associate professor level in the Health Science Clinical, Clinical X, or In-Residence series.

    UC Davis is a large volume Level I Trauma Hospital with an NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and a Level I Children's Surgical Center.

    Our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons have advanced training in microsurgery and specialize in microsurgical procedures which utilize state-of-the-art operating microscopes and precision instrumentation to perform intricate operations.

    The selected candidate is expected to engage in the teaching and practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery of patients with facial wounds, congenital deformities and/or breast reconstructive needs; microsurgery, and basic science/translational research trials relating to reconstructive surgery and clinical outcomes.

    Fellowship training is highly preferred
