    D3 Search is currently recruiting the following Paralegal candidate (temp-to-hire opportunity) for a respected hospital (corporate in-house legal dept.) located in East Hollywood, CA

    Position Title:

    Paralegal (corporate in-house legal department)

    Location | Map:

    East Hollywood, CA

    Employment Status:

    Temp-to-hire employment opportunity. Temporary-to-hire period is 90+/- days in duration.

    Employer Work Model:

    Fully onsite work model (Monday to Friday). Not a hybrid or remote role.

    Position Description:

    The Paralegal will provide support to the Office of General Counsel (corporate legal department) in the following areas: preparation, review, and processing of legal documents using form templates and managing special projects.

    • Organizes, reviews, and maintains the Legal Department's contracts, legal documents, and records.
    • Prepares, drafts, and reviews contracts and other legal documents.
    • Manages assigned special projects (e.g. subpoenas, debt collection, investigations, Legal Tracker).
    • Research & monitors and summarizes assigned legal topics, legal news, legislation, and/or litigation matters.
    • Prepares and files required documents for the Secretary of State and local governmental agencies.
    • Organizes and maintains emails/electronic files using the Legal Department's document management/repository system.
    • Prepares and presents Cabinet Dashboards for executives and other internal stakeholders.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Prefer prior paralegal experience or 3+ years of law-related experience under the supervision of an attorney.

    At least one of the following:

    • A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program is preferred,
    • A certificate from a paralegal program, or a degree from an accredited secondary institution which requires at least 31 semester units in law-related courses, or currently pursuing one of the above.

    Hourly Rate/Compensation:

    Hourly compensation is up to $30.00/hour (paid weekly via direct deposit).
