Modeling ProfessionalsJob Description:

We are currently seeking Building Information Model (BIM) Modeling professionals who specialize in MEP and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in multiple BIM Modeling disciplines and Construction Documentation preparation.

Our team works with multiple home builders and manufacturers nationwide, modeling various residential housing plans.

We utilize many different software and add-on packages to manage complex building configurations (options) and maximize the use of the BIM through the value stream.

Specifically, we are looking for individuals with experience in MEP modeling and/or design to support our home builders with work on both site-built and manufactured housing.

Key Responsibilities:
Modeling various residential housing plans using Autodesk Fabrication, Revit, AutoCAD Architecture, and AutoCAD MEPPreparation of Construction DocumentationWorking with home builders and manufacturers to ensure proper communication and understanding of project requirementsWorking with our team to develop and refine product delivery methodsSelf-checking work for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with client's standards
Key Requirements:5+ years of Architectural Drafting experience3+ years of Architectural BIM Modeling experienceExperience with some or all of the following software platforms: AutoCAD Architecture 2020 or later, AutoCAD MEP 2020 or later, Autodesk Fabrication 2020 or later (Discipline focus: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and Autodesk Revit 2020 or later (Discipline focus: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)Knowledge of MiTeks SapphireBUILD / Blackpoint software products preferred, but not required, willingness to learn is essential (Options and Material Management, and Order Processing System)Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word & Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive)Formal Architectural Drafting Education / TrainingBasic knowledge of residential wood frame construction and terminology, residential wastewater and supply plumbing design and concepts, residential mechanical systems, and residential electrical systemsWillingness to be part of a growing team that is rapidly developing and refining its product delivery methods on a near-constant basisAbility to quickly grasp new concepts and execute as part of product delivery is essentialIdeal candidate will be meticulous and highly self-motivatedStrong organizational skillsAnalytical person likes puzzlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to self-direct and work independently with limited supervisionAbility to work from existing drawings and specifications#J-18808-Ljbffr
