We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team at our corrections facility.
This unique role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to a diverse patient population, often in challenging circumstances.
The successful candidate will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, to ensure the well-being, safety, and health of all individuals in our care.
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience.Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the corrections facility, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, to ensure optimal patient care.Respond to emergency medical situations promptly and effectively.
Educate patients about health conditions and provide advice and emotional support.
Comply with all facility and nursing standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Participate in continuous education, training, and professional development activities to maintain current knowledge and skills.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a corrections, acute care, or similar environment.
Experience working with diverse patient populations and managing a wide range of medical conditions.Exceptional clinical skills, including the ability to assess and diagnose patients effectively and develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
