    We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team here at ProTech Industries. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication abilities, and profound organizational capabilities. This role will primarily involve assisting with the onboarding process, assisting in employee relations, handling FMLA paperwork, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of employment laws in Washington State.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Onboarding Assistance:

    Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

    Prepare necessary documentation, including employment contracts, orientation materials, and benefits enrollment forms.

    Assist with orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, and culture.

    Employee Relations:

    Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

    Foster positive employee relations through regular communication, engagement initiatives, and conflict resolution strategies.

    Collaborate with management and HR to address employee performance issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.

    FMLA Paperwork and Compliance:

    Assist with the FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) process, including documentation, tracking, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Assist employees with FMLA paperwork, eligibility determinations, and coordination of leave entitlements.

    Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely reporting related to FMLA usage and accommodations.

    Compliance with Employment Laws:

    Stay abreast of Washington State employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance in all HR activities.

    Assist with Providing guidance to management and employees on matters related to employment law, workplace policies, and procedures.

    Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance levels and implement corrective measures as needed.

    General HR Support:

    Maintain accurate employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.

    Assist with HR-related administrative tasks, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and personnel file management.

    Support HR initiatives and projects as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR function.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in HR coordination or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

    Strong understanding of Washington State employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

    Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

    Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.

    Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
