- Master's Degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and one (1) year of post-education social work experience in a health care or hospice setting
- Demonstrated ability in case management, counseling, and group work.
- Ability to work flexible hours, such as occasional evenings, weekends, holidays,and overtime as needed for patient care and operational needs.
- This position is designated as safety-sensitive and will require pre-employment drug testing, which includes cannabis testing in WA State.
- Bilingual in Spanish.

Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Social Work Supervisor or the Chief of Community Programs and Public Policy, the Hospice Social Worker (MSW) is responsible for the delivery of varied social work services to Hospice patients and their families in homes, facilities, and at Hospice House.
This position provides initial biopsychosocial evaluations, ongoing psychosocial support, direct case management services, bereavement services, and community education, outreach, and referral.
The Hospice Social Worker (MSW) is an integral part of the Hospice interdisciplinary team.Requirements

$0.72 per mile, for eligible positions.
Vacation:
Accrual of hours each pay period based on hours worked.
