Job Overview The Field Service Engineer Technician in the Power Tools and Lifting division is responsible for the full life cycle of the equipment to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
This encompasses supporting the sales team to grow the business collaborating with service coordination and managing a Field Service Technician team that installs repairs and maintains all PTL products in the field.
The Field Service Engineer has responsibility for installation maintaining troubleshooting and repairing assembly tools and related systems at customer sites.
Responsibilities Install and configure assembly tools and systems according to specifications Perform start-up operational checks to ensure proper functionality Provide on-site technical assistance training to customers Diagnose repair mechanical electrical software issues on assembly tools Conduct preventive maintenance minimize downtime extend equipment life Collaborate with sales function consult service agreements attend customer meetings win new grow existing drive new service business through technician generated leads quotes proposals Maximize cash flow ensuring service reports invoices generated immediately upon completion work warranty claims filed accurately timely manage expense budgets increase utilization of service team Ensure transactional processes impacting customer experience overall satisfaction Improve transactional processes impacting employee health safety compliance within shop at site Other duties support service business maintain high level environmental health safety standards +About UsIngersoll Rand is an equal opportunity employer.
