- Option to do just 8-10 days of Acute Newborn call/month for , or Option to do 8-10 days call and work (4x10s or 5x8s in clinic)
- PEDS nurse that is NICU certified.
- They are looking at (4) 10's per week and On-Call for the birthing center based on what they described below.
- BLS, NRP, & PALS required.
- Call coverage for Well Newborn and Acute Newborn call in the hospital.
- Must be willing to take call and work in a clinic
- Start ASAP
- On Call Birthing Center/Peds Clinic position
- On call roughly 10 days a month to go to the birthing center, if not working in the birthing center they will be in the clinic.
- BLS, PALS, NRP required/ S.T.A.B.L.E preferred
- BLS and ACLS
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Telemetry experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Pracitioner program
- Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license
- One year of Cerner experience
- NICU Certified
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Certified
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
