    Job Description

    We seek an experienced Email copywriter to join the Revenue Growth team at Freshworks. You will be responsible for writing compelling email copies spanning the buying journey for the Inbound business at Freshworks.

    You'll lead email copywriting for the entire product portfolio for audience segments spanning free plan users, trial users, trial expired, and customers.

    You'll continuously improve the performance of our lifecycle emails.

    You thrive in global and cross-functional organizational structures.


    What you'll do at Freshworks:
    Own performance of all email copies to engage trial users, convert engaged trial users, and expand current customers
    Craft compelling briefs to set up and activate trial users and engage and monetize them to paying customers; engage current customers to build engagement and drive cross-sell
    Interpret briefs from internal teams such as Paid growth and Growth funnel monetization and turn them into persuasive copy concepts; test and optimize subject line, copy, and CTA copy to improve conversion
    Partner with Product Marketing to understand and articulate product value propositions
    Collaborate with Brand marketing to ensure a consistent tone of voice
    Continuously improve Email performance based on platform and behavioral analytics

    We'd love to hear from you if you have:8-10 years of experience in copywriting for a SaaS organization; PLG experience preferred
    A strong, diverse portfolio that reflects a deep understanding of various types of emails - informational, educational, inspiring, and conversion-focused
    Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - you can perform a root cause analysis and develop copy solutions most appropriate for solving the problem statement
    An ability to juggle multiple projects in a high-velocity environment
    A team player mindset that is eager to brainstorm and create new ideas to elevate performance
    An ability to independently research and quickly understand unfamiliar topics, issues, and technical concepts
    A portfolio of writing/content samples is required.
    Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience.

    California Pay Range:
    $138,000 - $224,250 comprising an annual salary & incentive compensation. You may also be eligible for equity and additional generous company benefits.
