    CDW is seeking a Vulnerability Remediation System Administrator for a contract opportunity in Bonita Springs, FL.

    Location: Onsite in Bonita Springs, FL 34134

    Contract Duration: 3 months

    Start: Last week of April through the last week of July

    Pay Rate: $65-75/ hour W2

    Scope of Work:

    We are looking for a talented, self-starting, diligent system administrator to maintain and administer our company's networked system of servers and computers.

    This Vulnerability Remediation Analyst will need a strong background in vulnerability remediation and infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of our organization's IT infrastructure. They will also be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

    To be successful as a system administrator, you should have an excellent ability to solve problems using your in-depth understanding of information systems and computing solutions. The best system administrator will also be a highly motivated, self-starting team player, willing to handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism.

    This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

    Knowledge & Experience

    Experience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems.

    Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.

    Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.

    Experience with security principles and general software management best practices.

    Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives.

    Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

    Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

    Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.

    Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

    Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.

    Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

    Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

    Strong customer service orientation.

    Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    Education Background

    Bachelors degree and 3 years of administration experience, associate degree and 5 years related experience, or 8 years related experience.

    ITIL certification a plus

    Recent MCSA, CompTIA+, or CISSP certifications a plus

    Required Skills:

    5-8 years of experience with domain controllers, Active Directory, group policies, and a Microsoft Windows environment required

    Experience with vulnerability management, enterprise remediation efforts, patch management and system hardening

    Experience with performance monitoring software

    Experience with PowerShell

    Experience with scripting tools a plus

    Experience with Amazon Workspaces a plus

    Experience with SolarWinds Patch Manager a plus

    Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager a plus

    Experience with Linux a plus

    Experience with Ansible a plus

    Experience with VMWare (Private Cloud) a plus

    Experience manipulating data and creating presentation material in Microsoft Office software a plus.
