    The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes within our plant.

    This position involves leading a team of engineers to drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance productivity, ensure product quality, and maintain safety standards.

    The Engineering Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, implement new technologies, and achieve production goals efficiently.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Leadership and Team Management:
    Supervise and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
    Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the engineering team.


    Process Optimization:
    Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
    Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, minimize waste, and increase throughput.

    New Product Introduction (NPI):

    Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure smooth transition of new products into manufacturing.
    Lead NPI activities, including process validation, equipment selection, and production readiness assessments.

    Evaluate emerging technologies and automation solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities and competitiveness.
    Oversee the implementation of new equipment, tools, and systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.

    Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    Partner with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain rigorous standards for product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Drive initiatives to enhance process control, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.


    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve technical issues, optimize resource utilization, and meet production schedules.

    Collaborate with stakeholders to address manufacturing challenges, support capacity expansion, and drive strategic initiatives.

    Working Conditions:
    This position operates within a manufacturing plant and office environment. The role involves interactions with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field). Master's degree preferred.

    Proven experience (5+ years) in a manufacturing engineering role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

    Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and empower team members to achieve excellence.
    Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques.
    Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies, with a focus on high-volume production environments.
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven approach to process optimization.
    Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    Experience in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to manufacturing operations.
    Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
