    Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students within a high behavioral classroom environment in Columbus, GA. This contract position offers full-time hours from ASAP through May 21st, 2026, providing a consistent and engaging role for a professional comfortable working with behavioral challenges.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering speech and language services to students.
    • Facilitate therapy sessions tailored to the needs of students within a high behavioral setting.
    • Carry out responsibilities as assigned by the supervising SLP while managing a specialized caseload.
    • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports aligned with treatment plans.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Current SLPA license is required.
    • Proven experience or background working within behavioral settings.
    • Ability to effectively manage and engage students with behavioral challenges.
    • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a school team.

    Location:

    • Columbus, GA, serving within the local school district near Fort Benning.

    Work Schedule:

    • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).
