Lear Capital is seeking a highly organized, people-savvy professional to manage the daily operations of our Metals Trade Desk while providing hands-on sales and administrative support to a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities
- This is a new position This is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA, for a Trade & Logistics Specialist on the Metals Trade Desk. THIS IS NOT REMOTE.
- Place and track metal bids and purchases
- Maintain accurate records of: Metals purchased Orders assigned Metals owed versus fulfilled Monitor order changes or cancellations and ensure metals are: Properly reallocated to new orders Not duplicated, misplaced, or left unused Reconcile metals on hand with active and pending orders Identify and resolve discrepancies in coordination with sales and leadership Maintain clean, auditable logs for internal reporting and accountability Serve as a primary point of contact between Sales representatives Trading Senior leadership Communicate clearly confidently with sales representatives regarding Trade placement status Metal availability Order changes or cancellations Enforce processes while maintaining positive working relationships Manage competing requests from multiple sales reps in fast-paced environment Keep workflows moving without creating friction bottlenecks Create update distribute reports related to sales activity trades inventory Perform accurate data entry of sales figures trade details operational metrics Maintain organized digital filing e-file systems Respond professionally to internal external email inquiries Follow-up with clients by phone for administrative purposes only Provide administrative support senior Sales Director including Scheduling meetings interviews Handling correspondence follow-ups Stay informed financial markets geopolitical events economic factors impacting precious metals
