    Description
    KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Electronics Engineer, Senior, to join our team. This position will require at least 63% onsite work to be done in St. Inigoes, MD.

    This position will have demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering expertise.

    This position applies and integrates engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military C5ISR systems.


    Primary Duties:
    Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, QA testing, or acquisition and resource management.
    Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analysis, reports, change proposals, and other engineering documentation.

    Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military C5ISR systems and associated support systems or management information systems.

    Works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and shall perform all functional duties independently.

    May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts or all staff assigned to a specific job.


    Skills and Qualifications:
    Ability to lead the execution of complex tasks, when applicable.
    Ability to review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
    Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills.
    Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality.
    Microsoft office proficiency.
    Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    Ability to work independently
    Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
    Detail oriented
    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
    Ability to adapt to evolving technology

    Education and Experience:
    Master's degree in an Engineering discipline

    In lieu of a Master's degree a substitution may be allowed for a Bachelor's degree and years of applicable experience.

    Ten (10) years of experience
    At least six (6) years of experience in engineering CID systems.

    Clearance:
    This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
