- Communicate the value of Information Technology (IT) security throughout all levels of the organization's stakeholders.
- Define and manage IT and/or cybersecurity related programs and projects to include program initiatives and activities and cybersecurity awareness.
- Consult with stakeholders to evaluate functional cybersecurity requirements and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Coordinate federal interagency cyber incident response, handling, requests for technical assistance, and reports.
- Build cybersecurity coalitions amongst the federal interagency to promote information sharing, reduce duplication, and improve the cybersecurity services provided by federal agencies.
- Provide situational awareness and cyber incident forensics and mitigation assistance to federal cyber officials in support of stakeholders.
- Analyze cyber threat intelligence from multiple sources to advise federal cyber officials on courses of action to reduce cyber vulnerabilities.
- Notify private and public sector stakeholders of potential cyber vulnerabilities and provide guidance on options to mitigate.
- Present findings of cyber incidents and analyses to senior federal officials.
- Participate as a presenter in regional seminars, symposia, and meetings relating to cybersecurity.
