    POSITION DESCRIPTION
    :


    The Estimator is responsible for the preparation of estimates of probable costs of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts for construction projects in a professional and knowledgeable manner.

    This position will ensure the accuracy of the entire process as it relates to the estimation and bid process. This position ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to.


    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
    :

    Developing estimates, quotes, and bids for industrial projects from $5K up to $10M.

    Completing take-offs to gather information for bids.

    Reading plans and specifications.

    Understanding and navigating building codes.

    Reviewing sites and gathering information for estimates for work on existing buildings.

    Designing solutions for customer's problems.

    Operating company estimating system to develop bids and estimates.

    Estimate & AnalysisActive Jobs and Project Analysis

    Code Compliance Review

    Project Tracking

    Skills Software & Interpersonal:

    Critical Thinking

    Efficient time management

    Prioritizing Tasks

    Risk Management.

    Excel (PROFICIENT)

    Estimating Software(PROFICIENT)

    MS Project (desirable)

    AutoCAD / Revit (desirable)

    Teams Meeting

    Navisworks (desirable)

    Cloud Base Project Management Software (desirable)

    Procore (desirable)

    Education Desired:

    Industrial Construction Education related Degrees (Strongly Suggested)

    Bachelor in Process Engineering

    Mechanical Engineering

    Distribution of Time:

    Travel will be required

    Office based work

    Potential for nationwide travel for Field Visits, On-Site Meetings, project reviews up to 60% of the time

    Language:

    Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)
