    Primary Function:

    The Director of Marketing and Communication will be a key member of our Resource Development team, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and support for BGCAA.

    This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

    The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission and have a deep understanding of nonprofit marketing and communication principles.


    KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

    Develop and execute a year long, comprehensive integrated marketing and communication plans to promote BGCAA's mission, programs, and impact across various channels.

    Lead a small team of marketing and communication professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

    Collaborate closely with the executive team and program leaders to align marketing and communication efforts with organizational goals and priorities.

    Oversee the creation and production of high-quality marketing collateral, including but not limited to digital content, print materials, social media posts, email campaigns, videos, and presentations.

    Manage the organization's brand identity and ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all communication channels.

    Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other key stakeholders to maximize press coverage and opportunities for visibility.

    Develop and manage the organization's online presence, including the website, blog, and social media platforms, to engage and grow our audience.

    Monitor and analyze marketing and communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

    Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and communication, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

    Represent BGCAA at events, conferences, and other public forums to promote our mission and build partnerships within the community.
