Tradeshow & Event Manager - Framingham, United States - Re:Build Manufacturing

    Default job background
    Description
    About Re:Build Manufacturing

Re:Build Manufacturing, LLC (Re:Build) is a rapidly growing family of industrial businesses combining enabling technologies, operational superiority, and strategic M&A to build America's next generation industrial company. At Re:Build we deploy deep expertise in operations management and technology to supercharge performance of our subsidiaries by implementing core technologies across industrial platforms in diverse growth markets. Our goal is to help revitalize the U.S. manufacturing base over the coming decades, creating substantial opportunities for our employees and the communities where we operate.

We leverage deep professional expertise and a candid, principled operating culture to drive differentiated outcomes for our customers, our employees, our communities and our investors. Ours is a fast-paced environment where individuals can stretch and be challenged with a wide variety of opportunities and projects. We empower and support our employees to pursue their fullest potential and provide meaningful avenues for personal and professional growth.

    Who we are looking for

You will scale and refine the tradeshow program for Re:Build and its 13 member companies and help grow the Re:Build brand presence in the markets that we serve. You will help to establish a powerful position for the company in key markets, and to generate high quality leads to support revenue growth. The incumbent will manage, promote, and implement an array in-person trade show events across the entire event lifecycle, including conceptualization and planning, key partner alignment, logistics management, marketing and promotions, and post-event reporting and analysis. The right person will be capable of managing the details of these events while rallying the necessary cross-functional team resources to make each event successful. The ideal candidate will be a masterful planner with a natural inclination to both plan the events, and to measure the effectiveness of these events in the context of driving growth for the Re:Build brand. This role requires the coordination of many moving parts with a relentless attention to detail.

    What you get to do
    • Complete the tradeshow strategy for all Re:Build at shows spanning the U.S. and a wide variety of industry verticals
    • Establish a repeatable and scalable process to plan for, implement, and follow up on all events and marketing programs, including lead bring together and assignment
    • Explore and evaluate new show and event opportunities and elevate those to leadership for consideration
    • Lead the creation of necessary show assets and collateral
    • Create a show plan for each event
    • Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team and sales/business development for the creation of materials, training of show staff, and on day of activation/set-up
    • Lead the inventory of booth items, such as back drops, banners, TVs, etc.
    • Track booth/show investment and build effective reports to determine performance and return on investment of events
    • Handle the creation of pre- and post-show communication to show attendees or contacts obtained over the course of the show
    • Partner with the marketing team to complete Re:Build's overall brand strategy and pipeline development initiatives
    • Work with the team to build a robust process for lead capture and tracking through the HubSpot platform.
    • Support the coordination of other internal and external events as needed
    • Conceptualize, plan, organize, and implement other Re:Build initiated conferences and events for customers, employees, and other partners
What you bring to the Team
    • Utmost attention to detail and exceptional organization
    • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
    • Ability to travel frequently, primarily in the U.S.
    • Comfortable with multitasking in a high pressure and time-sensitive environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Curious, fast-learning, and resourceful
    • Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
    • Creative problem-solving skills
    • Adept at communication
    • Ability to work well with a remote team
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Passion for planning events
    Education and/or Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing or a related field
    • 5-8 years of shown, previous experience leading the planning, execution, and logistics of trade shows and their related budgets; preferably in the B2B/Technology/Manufacturing space
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
    • Competent with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of products (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
    • Familiarity or experience with HubSpot
    Other Skills and Abilities:

The position requires a strong working understanding of Microsoft Office and ideally Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. A strong ability to communicate effectively is required. This role will require significant travel, some of which may fall outside normal business hours depending on the show schedules.
