    Description

    The Community Support Specialist I provides services to individuals with psychiatric disabilities who are living in a licensed 24 hour Community Residential Rehabilitation Program. Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, this team member is responsible for involving individuals served in a person-centered approach to planning and participating in recovery facilitating rehabilitation and enrichment services.

    This team member works in conjunction with the Program Supervisor and colleagues to ensure that the individuals served have a safe, secure and supportive living environment which fosters mental health recovery.

    Schedule: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm

    Note: Works every other weekend, when working the weekend has the Friday before off and the Monday after off

    $1,000.00 Sign-On Bonus

    Qualifications
    • Associate degree in a health-related field and one (1) year related MH/PD/ID, Residential or Human Services experience
    • OR a High School Diploma or GED and three years of MH/PD/ID, Residential or Human Services experience
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • The ability to use core rehabilitation skills and to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
    • The ability to perform basic computer data entry required
