    Senior Mechanical Engineer
    • Baltimore, MDResponsibilities:* Mechanical design of projects, create designs and plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary mechanical engineering design role, handle multiple simultaneous projects in wide variety of projects with mechanical and plumbing distribution systems for educational, industrial, health care, laboratory, commercial core and shell buildings and tenant interior fit out projects.
    • Provide cooling and heating load calculations, air and water distribution system pressure drop calculations
    • Provide HVAC equipment selection, and review submittals.
    • Provide plumbing and fire protection calculations and provide equipment selection.
    • Prepare Construction Drawings, Specifications, Calculations, Cost Estimates, and perform field inspections
    • Work with Management to respond to RFPs
    • Represent the company in project meetings as needed
    • Autodesk Revit, experience preferred but not required, AutoCAD experience required
    • Preferred working knowledge of word, excel, and windows
    • Preferred working knowledge of energy modeling softwareQualifications: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • EIT or the ability to sit for the EIT/FE exam is preferred, new PE a plus
    • U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances.
    • Ability to work in a team environment, Effective interpersonal skills
    • Experience with Mechanical Systems such as chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumping systems, plumbing systems, generators, and control system coordination desirable.
    • Experience working on complex facilities design or for Hospitals, Data Centers, Mission Critical projects a plus
    • Ability to successfully work independently, while coordinating with electrical disciplines.
    • Self Starter, self-motivated, and should prioritize well. Strong mechanical building systems background.
    • Possess a current state-of-residence drivers license.

    Compensation:
    Negotiable, commensurate with experience, abilities, and production.
