    **LOCATION:** Prescott Corps, AZ

    **STATUS:** PT, up to 29 hours per week

    **MISSION STATEMENT:**

    The Salvation Army in Prescott is looking to hire a Team Leader for the After School Program. The successful candidate for this position will be highly motivated and will have a desire to work with children/youth in a learning environment.

    The Team Leader for the After School Program will provide students with activities that promote their physical and intellectual development, create and implement a weekly schedule that provides students with activities that promote physical and intellectual development. This position will supervise and direct ASP staff and volunteers by providing learning tools, encouraging and promoting a positive work environment.

    **QUALIFICATIONS:**

    High school diploma or GED

    Ability to follow direction and work with minimum of supervision.

    Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and the ability to communicate with employers, students and staff.

    Experience in a childcare setting.

    Familiar with The Salvation Army Protect the Mission requirements for staff and volunteers.

    Must be able to pass a PTM background check.

    Working knowledge of child development needs.

    Must be CPR/First Aide certified for children.

    **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

    Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.     While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms on a continuous basis. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
