    Description


    The Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) ensures that all Refugee and Immigrant Service (RIS) programs, including the Reception & Placement (R&P), Matching Grant (MG), and state-funded programs, are compliant with contracts and are meeting expected outcomes.

    The QAC ensures staff has the training needed to perform assigned duties, and that clients and stakeholders are receiving quality services.

    Essential Functions


    • Maintain current knowledge of the U.S. Resettlement Program.
    • Maintain current knowledge of all Refugee and Immigrant Services programs.
    • Review program contracts and ensure that services provided are in compliance with those contracts.
    • Assist in the development of program assessment tools.
    • Review program case files to ensure proper documentation of services provided.
    • Conduct home visits to ensure clients are provided services mandated by the Department of State Cooperative Agreement, the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
    • Administer surveys to staff, employers, volunteers, and clients to evaluate program effectiveness, and work with PQI Manager to craft trainings and/or create tools to address findings.
    • Convene focus groups to obtain feedback regarding services.
    • In cooperation with the Director of PQI and the RIS Directors develop and maintain written guidelines governing program operations.
    • Develop program forms and coordinate translation of the forms.
    • Provide technical support regarding contract guidelines to the Refugee and Immigrant Services offices.
    • In cooperation with the Director of PQI, the RIS Directors, and HR organize and conduct staff trainings, ensure all required program related trainings are completed, and keep record of all staff training.
    • Ensure all pre-monitoring requirements are met and ensure recommendations from monitoring reports are implemented in a timely manner.
    • Ensure any new program updates/changes are clearly relayed to staff (i.e., Cooperative Agreement changes and implementation).
    • Oversee site quality assurance protocol & spreadsheet and update as needed.
    • Attend all conferences, seminars, and meetings related to program activities
    • Work with the Director of PQI to ensure RIS readiness for COA re-accreditation.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education
    Bachelor's degree (four-year college or technical school) required, in one of the following field(s) of study: social work, social services, or related field
    Other Requirements
    Valid driver's license.
    Clean driving record.
    A personal vehicle or access to a vehicle required.
    Successfully pass background check and drug screen.
    Physical and TB test required.
    COVID-19 vaccination mandatory.
