    Description

    In this role, you will be responsible for welding or fitting various metal pieces together to create a final product using the customer's specifications or drawings.

    The schedule for this position is M-Th 6am-4:45pm and F 6am-3:45pm plus overtime as needed with occasional Saturday work.

    *Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding codes to determine project specifications.

    • Operate welding equipment to cut, weld, and fabricate metal components/structures.
    • Fit up miscellaneous transitions at interfaces between equipment.
    • Use various tools, machinery, and equipment such as drills, grinder, saw, forklifts, boom lifts, etc.
    • Complete customer's needs on project, if it does not involve financial changes to the contract Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance.
    • Align, fit, measure, lay out and inspect parts, mark cutting lines, gather materials and operate machinery.
    • Welding in all positions
    • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
    • Welding certificate or Diploma
    • CNC Machine and/or Plasma Table experience
    • 2+ years of welding experience using hand and power tools to install or repair equipment.
    • Fabrication and shop experience preferred.
    • Perform duties in an independent manner with minimal direction and supervision.
