    role, reporting to the Director, Data Analytics.

    The position will work with GATX business end users and functional leaders, identifying gaps in existing processes and proposing and implementing solutions to deliver insights through governed and self-service deployment models.

    This role will support and enhance the enterprise-wide, single-truth data architecture that is centralized and secure.

    Responsibilities:


    Lead development requests, enhancements, and project initiatives aimed at integrating and creating enterprise solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform to facilitate business processes across the broader GATX business community.

    Have the technical knowledge related to data visualization and insights delivery on the Microsoft Power platform including: mock-up design, development, and testing of PowerBI dashboards and data flows.

    Lead and collaborate with project teams consisting of technical architects, application developers, infrastructure administrators, DBAs, business analysts and users to effectively plan, design and implement solutions/insights in support of Data Analytics, Reporting and Integration platforms.

    Support existing implementations including maintenance and production support.
    Create workflow architectures.
    Investigate and stay abreast of new technologies and innovations.
    Provide production support for insights and environments when required.

    Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience Required:


    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Math, Sciences, Engineering) with concentrations in Data Analysis, Data Integration/ETL, Data Modeling and Data Warehousing as plus.

    Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (including M and DAX languages).
    Solid working knowledge of data visualization design and development techniques.
    Ability to extract, compile, and analyze data using standard statistical tools.
    Ability to research, compile and generate working instructions, resources and/or training packages

    Other:
    Occasional travel is expected
    Occasional work on nights and weekends to support production environment and meet project demands and deadlines.
