    Clinical Pharmacist ICU Days
    Dallas, TX | Pharmacy

    At Children's Health, we value the role each team member plays in helping us deliver on our mission of making life better for children.

    The pharmacist in this position is responsible for all pharmaceutical services in the pediatric, neonatal and cardiovascular intensive care units.

    Performs other pharmacy services as appropriate.

    Duties and responsibilities include both direct-patient care (participation in multidisciplinary patient care rounds) and distributive responsibilities in the ICU pharmacy.


    Shift:
    Days;

    Precept pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.
    Monitor inpatient and outpatient profiles for drug interactions, food-drug interactions, and duplication of therapy.
    Participate in quality improvement activities such as floor inspections, medication use evaluations, and documentation of interventions.

    demonstrates awareness of the industry, including regulatory requirements, evolving customer demands, and the factors that differentiate the organization in the market.

    Completion of pharmacy practice residency with pediatric experience, preferred.
    Pediatric and/or Critical Care Pharmacy experience, preferred.
    D) from an accredited school of pharmacy required.

    Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification, preferred.
