    Mount Carmel Guild Behavioral Health System, a CARF accredited division of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark, is a leading provider of mental health and addiction services in Northern New Jersey.

    We are currently seeking a Clinical Team Leader for our MCG Adult Residential program located in Union City, NJ .Our Residential Programs serve individuals who are referred primarily from the State and County Hospitals and who are ready for discharge into the community.

    MCG has had success in moving individuals along the continuum of care available, progressing from A+ group homes to less supervised levels.


    Job Duties:


    Coordinates clinical services within the residential team and provides clinical supervision to residential staff and treatment services delivery and progress monitoring.

    Responsible for Intake Assessments, Biopsychosocials, and Treatment Plans (CSP).Provides crisis intervention and 24-hour on call coverage.
    Leads the development of Comprehensive Service Plans, assesses needs, and clinical interventions.
    Completes and monitors clinical progress notes and clinical documentation and reports.
    Conducts regular individual and group therapy and psycho-education sessions.

    Participates in case conferencing with day treatment providers, hospitals and family members as needed to assure continuity and consistency of services.

    Develops Residential Staff Training Curriculum, training materials and conducts and documents new staff and annual staff training in all Modules.

    Has oversight of the State referral process, BEDS online system and coordinates admissions and discharges.
    Coordinates resident's benefits/entitlements and assists Program Manager with resident related administrative tasks.
    Conducts monthly staff meetings and ongoing weekly staff clinical supervision and training.


    Requirements:
    Master's degree in mental health related disciplineValid LSWValid NJ driver's licenseThree to five years of supervisory and residential experience is preferred but not required
