    Overview

    Nurse Liaisons are a critical role for the success of any post-acute care hospital.

    A successful liaison will have great people skills, be able to build trusting relationships with case managers and providers and have clinical understanding for many of the disease states that require longer hospital stays.


    What you can expect from this role:
    Many of our patients at St.

    Luke's Rehabilitation Hospital in Boise have had a brain injury either through trauma or stroke, others will have orthopedic injuries, while others will have loss of function that requires skilled nursing.

    Much of the time spent by this liaison is in reviewing referrals for appropriate placement, meeting with patients to describe our hospital and how the services we provide will benefit them, and working closely with providers and case managers for possible referrals.


    • Fosters the relationship between patients and the facilities providing their care
    • Full-time; 1.0 FTE, day shift
    • Sign-on bonus & relocation assistance eligible for new hires

    Minimum qualifications for this role:

    • Education: Bachelors of Nursing Degree; OR Associates of Nursing Degree/Diploma PLUS two (2) additional years of RN experience
    • Experience: Two (2) years of RN experience
    • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
    • Preferred (but not required): Inpatient rehab or case management experience
