The Funplex Mount Laurel, a part of Lahn Hospitality and Amusement Group, is seeking a full-time Party Manager to join our team.
Summary:
This position is an important role to the success of The Funplex and will be actively involved in the daily sales, events and group outings within the facility. As the Party Manager, your role will be to successfully manage the party department while driving your team to provide an exceptional experience from the booking stage through the day of the special event.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate entertaining birthday parties and events
- Schedule, coordinate and manage birthday party sales, hosts and runners
- Develop your team to create a fun and enthusiastic environment for all guests
- Organize and implement birthday schedules and events
- Manage and schedule party office sales team, hosts and runner.
- Maintain reservations and prepare reports
- Oversee/provide clean up following parties
- Manage Party Team Leads
- Ensure that party sheets are completed both accurately and on time
- Daily party schedule
- Food & Beverage spreadsheet
- Guest surveys
- Maintains inventory of party supplies, office supplies and uniforms
- Maintains open communications with management of scheduled events
- Develop and implement post-party follow up and referral process
- Assists and supports the party sales desk on all birthday related questions/concerns
- Operates Point of Sale (POS) system including deposits and party transactions
- Provides or performs other services or duties as required by Director of Sales

- Leadership - Ability to lead people and maintain a visible leadership role in appropriate credibility throughout the organization, management and employees.
- Sales & Revenue Growth - Should demonstrate an ability to drive sales through strategic planning, relationship building, and performance analysis. Skilled in identifying growth opportunities, developing revenue-generating initiatives, and collaborating across departments to increase bookings, attendance, and overall profitability. Ability to analyze sales trends, set targets, and execute action plans that deliver measurable results.
- Communication - Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively.
- Self-Motivation/Initiative - Demonstrates ability to take initiative and executes to accomplish strategic objectives.
- Focus - Ability to set and meet strategic objectives, plans and time schedules; ability to effectively establish and organize competing priorities; maintain a steadfast commitment to detail.
- Flexibility - Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and maintain a flexible work schedule to meet various demands for multiple concurrent projects.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of related experience in sales or operations management: preferably in hospitality/service/event/amusement industry, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Confident and personalized sales skills.
- Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Office.
- Full-Availability on weekends and evenings, willing to work on holidays.
Salary: $67,000 - $72,000 yearly
