Job Summary:
The role involves overseeing Engineering tasks and supporting other Network Engineers in their daily operations. Responsibilities include creating high-level design documents, topology drawings, and testing new technology. This position directly reports to the Technology Group Product Manager, understanding business goals, processes, and technology requirements clearly.

The Network Engineer is actively engaged in the entire technology life cycle, from design to implementation and support of software, hardware, and systems. Collaboration with Analysts and Product Managers is crucial to grasp business needs for technical solution design.

Job Responsibilities:
Key duties include:

Designing, developing, and testing technology solutions to meet business/technology needs.
Collaborating with internal/external teams for seamless integration of technology solutions.
Analyzing end-user requirements and translating them into technology designs.
Conducting network traffic analysis and proposing network configuration enhancements to cut costs and improve service.
Peer reviewing designs, implementation plans, and software configurations.
Staying updated on network technologies and industry trends.
Participating in critical patches and upgrades planning and execution.
Creating technical documentation such as process flowcharts and diagrams.
Applying operational fixes and proactively maintaining solutions.

Job Specific Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 6 years of technology solution engineering experience.
Leadership skills in technology solution ownership and adoption.
Experience in network/systems/security design and Cisco infrastructure implementation.
Proficiency in Cisco technologies and equipment, LAN/WAN protocols, Firewalls, and VPNs.
Knowledge of Cisco IOS, NXOS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and Datacenter virtualization.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus platform and SAN switching.

Desired Qualifications:

Cisco certifications like CCNP Datacenter, CCNP Routing and Switching.
Amazon Solution Architect Certification.
Virtual technology platform knowledge including VMware vCenter and vSphere.
