Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist Laborist to join our dynamic inpatient team. This is a hospital-based position focused exclusively on labor and delivery, acute gynecologic care, and emergency obstetric management.Key Responsibilities
Labor & Delivery and
Acute Care Focus:
Provide 24/7 obstetric hospitalist coverage for labor and delivery unitManage acute antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum complicationsPerform cesarean sections, operative vaginal deliveries, and obstetric proceduresCollaborative management of vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) trialsRespond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies from the xhmxlyz EDProvide urgent gynecologic consultations for inpatient services and unassigned patientsCoverage includes L&D, PET (pre-eclampsia), acute gynecology, and OB/GYN ED emergenciesTeaching and Collaboration:Direct supervision and teaching of OB/GYN residents and medical studentsCollaborate with private attending physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
