- Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures
- Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordingly
- Proper disposition of specimens and instruments
- Works with entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety
- Call is required for this position.
- Graduation from an Accredited Surgical Technologist CAAHEP or ABHES Program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from an accredited program preferred NBSTA or NCCT, but not required
- Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience
- Less than 1 year Endoscopy Technologist Experience Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

This is a Full-time Days position, with the schedule being Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM with late stays included.
This position requires call and qualifies for competitive call differentials.
A surgical technologist in this role, the individual will work as part of the surgical services teams in the Endoscopy unit.
The individual will assist the team during procedures, ensure a sterile environment, hand instruments to surgeons during procedures, and maintain patient safety.
Throughout the day, precision, attention to detail, and teamwork are paramount in providing quality patient care.As a Surgical Technologist for the Endoscopy unit, your responsibilities and qualifications will include:
