    Job Title: Analyst, Pricing

    Reports To: Senior Manager, Pricing

    Position Location: Vernon Hills, IL

    FLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Exempt

    Position Summary:

    This position assists in the development, delivery and execution of corporate standards, policies and best practices around pricing that are aligned to Company strategies. The position is responsible for implementing pricing strategy and tactics. The role will work closely with Product Management, Marketing and Regional Sales teams to provide predictive analysis and pricing recommendations to objectively guide market price strategy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Implements the formulation, training and compliance around Antylia Industry Pricing Strategy with supporting sub strategies around Product and Marketing strategy leading to transactional process, tactics and delivery of price realization.

    + Accomplishes the integration of internal and external data to drive better understanding on decisions at the business level such as financial, brand strategy and commodities vs niche/proprietary products.

    + Conducts analysis around all aspects of pricing such as estimating volume impacts due to changes in price, promotions, competitive response etc.

    + Exploring the data, mining the data and looking for insights to drive pricing decisions.

    + Present results and findings in PowerPoint or other effective means of communication to directly influence pricing decisions.

    + Team player on departmental projects and initiatives. Understands and applies price elasticities, pricing power and promotional lift factors effectively.

    + Develop ongoing implementation process for solutions to complex problems, requiring the consistent use of decision making skills, as well as appropriate innovation.

    + Practice effective compliance management by adhering to required standards and processes

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Education:

    + Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics or related field from an accredited higher learning institution.

    Experience:

    + 3-5 years of experience in pricing strategy, data analytics, or consumer insights

    Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

    + Microsoft Office expertise, especially in Excel. SAS, SPSSX, Python, QLickView expertise a plus.

    + Analytical and organized with relentless attention to detail.

    + Strong intellectual curiosity and affinity for numbers.

    + Ability to understand data, identify risks, develop recommendations and implement solutions.

    + Familiarity with databases.

    + Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to consistently provide clear and concise written and verbal communication.

    + Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints

    + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization

    + Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization
