    Signal is looking for its next chief financial officer (CFO) to lead the credit union's finance and accounting activities strategically.

    Signal seeks a dynamic and strategic executive to maximize member-owner returns and promote financial stability and soundness. The CFO will oversee planning, budgeting, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the credit union.

    They serve as the credit union's investment officer and provide guidance to the president, board of directors, asset-liability committee, and senior management to ensure the credit union continues to meet the needs of its members while maintaining a sound financial condition.

    This role oversees the day-to-day operations of accounting, finance, treasury, and collections.

    The CFO is heavily involved in forecasting and strategic planning and is instrumental in maintaining the credit unions financial health to best serve the membership.

    In addition, the CFO will develop and mentor the accounting and finance teams and ensure operational effectiveness from all team members.

    They are a senior leadership team member and report directly to the chief executive officer.

    The CFO will serve as the financial expert at Signal and will communicate and interact with several entities as they analyze, interpret, and deliver comprehensive analyses of financial results to the executive leadership team and the board of directors.

    The CFO will work closely with auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with accounting methods and NCUA regulations. In addition, the CFO has a tremendous attention to detail, an affinity for numbers, and a passion for timeliness.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for the CFO to be successful.
    Bachelors degree required; Advanced degree and/or CPA preferred10+ years of executive leadership experience in accounting/finance at a bank or credit unionExceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skillsAbility to think strategically, synthesize complex business/financial data, and develop innovative solutionsAbility to multitask, maintaining a high degree of detail and accuracyAction-oriented and results-drivenSalary ranges from $170,000 to $223,00 annually.
