    Job Description:

    Job Responsibilities:

    85% To provide assistance to students, parents, faculty and staff in regard to both Federal and State financial aid.

    Answer the phone, emails and voice mails

    Sort, process and route incoming mail and faxes

    Assist with filing and copying of financial aid material

    Assist students in completing financial aid verification documents

    Track, review and process all incoming documents

    Create new folders for student selected for verification or special circumstance

    Copy all student Financial Aid data information for subpoena request

    Track and process Student Affair appeals and route accordingly

    Daily maintenance of office equipment to ensure proper office function

    Notify students of receipt of FAFSA through University email

    15% SUPERVISE STUDENT WORKERS

    Supervise and coordinate scheduling for student workers

    Train student workers and explain the financial aid process and daily operation

    Schedule training periods and monthly student worker updates.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Associate's Degree

    or

    Over 5 years of direct experience as an Office Assistant in a demanding fast pace work environment.
