    JOB SUMMARY

    The Commercial Property Manager is responsible for the direct management of a commercial portfolio while providing leadership to a team of commercial maintenance technicians. The Senior Facilities Manager/Commercial Property Manager will support the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of daily facilities activities.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Directly manage a commercial portfolio consisting of approx 1MM sf while providing daily oversight of staff
    • Prepare annual operating budgets and continually monitor monthly income and expenses for your portfolio
    • Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders by monitoring and listening to feedback, developing action plans, and delivering custom reporting for business-critical elements
    • Establish and maintain standards and procedures for daily maintenance, as well as, monthly and quarterly inspections and property audits
    • Reports all matters relating to the sites, risks, projects, and budgets to the appropriate cross-functional partners
    • Serves as the primary facilities point of contact for all significant facilities matters
    • Establish and develop excellent client relationships to foster growth
    • Anticipate and oversee capital improvements to maintain the integrity of the property
    • Work with the brokerage team to extend asset management services to our clients
    • Other tasks as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

    • Experience in Facilities Management
    • Experience creating operating budgets
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and MRI or similar accounting software
    • Expertise in understanding financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
    • Knowledge and experience with strategic commercial facilities planning and maintenance
    • Valid driver's license
