- Provide and perform customer (operators and maintenance) trainings at Weber Inc.s facility or at the client site, including pre-training interviews, lesson planning, and material preparation.
- Act as a resource for questions regarding Weber Inc. equipment.
- Create, update, and maintain training documentation relating to the safe operation and maintenance of Weber Inc. equipment.
- Good background in the electrical and mechanical components of Weber Inc. equipment
- Advanced knowledge of the different product applications?
- Duties as assigned
- Electrical, pneumatical, and mechanical experience required.
- Mechanical aptitude needed.
- Must have the ability to respond and adjust to changing and new situations. Work well in high stress environments and maintain professionalism in dealing with customers and co-workers.
- Needs to be self-starter and can work in unsupervised settings.
- Must be able to understand complex relationships between different machine components.
- Ability to explain complex processes in a simplified manner.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or associates of the organization.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, geometry, and trigonometry to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be very proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, as well as having working knowledge of database applications and contact management systems
- Associate degree or equivalent technical school diploma in electrical or technical engineering or similar discipline.
- Experience in customer training is a plus.
- Minimum of two years field service, maintenance, training, or similar experience.
- Experience in the food industry is a plus.
- Salesforce experience a plus.
- Spanish is a plus.
- Will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current valid U.S. drivers license
- Valid U.S. passport or have the ability to obtain one
- Must have the ability to travel within North America and Germany
