    Job Title: Trainer (Electrical & Mechanical)

    Position Summary:

    The position is responsible for creating and providing outstanding formalized training programs and materials for Weber Inc. customers.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide and perform customer (operators and maintenance) trainings at Weber Inc.s facility or at the client site, including pre-training interviews, lesson planning, and material preparation.
    • Act as a resource for questions regarding Weber Inc. equipment.
    • Create, update, and maintain training documentation relating to the safe operation and maintenance of Weber Inc. equipment.
    • Good background in the electrical and mechanical components of Weber Inc. equipment
    • Advanced knowledge of the different product applications?
    • Duties as assigned

    Required Skills and Abilities

    • Electrical, pneumatical, and mechanical experience required.
    • Mechanical aptitude needed.
    • Must have the ability to respond and adjust to changing and new situations. Work well in high stress environments and maintain professionalism in dealing with customers and co-workers.
    • Needs to be self-starter and can work in unsupervised settings.
    • Must be able to understand complex relationships between different machine components.
    • Ability to explain complex processes in a simplified manner.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or associates of the organization.
    • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, geometry, and trigonometry to practical situations.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be very proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, as well as having working knowledge of database applications and contact management systems

    Education and Experience

    • Associate degree or equivalent technical school diploma in electrical or technical engineering or similar discipline.
    • Experience in customer training is a plus.
    • Minimum of two years field service, maintenance, training, or similar experience.
    • Experience in the food industry is a plus.
    • Salesforce experience a plus.
    • Spanish is a plus.
    • Will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Other Requirements

    • Current valid U.S. drivers license
    • Valid U.S. passport or have the ability to obtain one
    • Must have the ability to travel within North America and Germany

    Classification: Exempt/Salary

    Travel Requirements: North America, Europe, up to 70%
