    About the opportunity:

    This position is responsible for leading the Sales and Operations Planning process including demand, supply, and inventory planning. This position will also lead projects related to operations, systems, and new product introductions. Strong collaboration with Operations, Finance, E-Commerce, and suppliers is critical to meet business goals.

    Location: Ideally located in Minneapolis, MN area, but open to remote.

    Some of your contributions include:

    • Lead the monthly customer demand forecasting process.
    • Create, maintain, and publish the monthly customer demand plan using historical trends, promotion plans, and statistical forecasting.
    • Improve and maintain forecasting tools which feed the supply planning tools.
    • Lead consensus meetings with Finance, Operations, and E-Commerce to review forecasts, gain and apply insights.
    • Lead the monthly supply planning process.
    • Create and maintain Production Plans for finished goods and packaging components, considering lead times, target inventory levels, optimal order quantities and supply constraints.
    • Lead monthly Supply Review meetings to communicate risks and opportunities associated with the Production Plan and provide purchase order recommendations.
    • Assist in improving the inventory strategy.
    • Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels to ensure high service levels to customers.
    • Support Operations and Innovation projects.
    • Support cost savings initiatives.
    • Streamline processes, enhance reporting, and suggest improvements to improve Supply Chain efficiencies.
    • Implement Continuous Improvement (CI) tools to drive improvement.
    • Participate in the selection, implementation, and use of an ERP system.

    What Youve Done:

    • 4 yr. degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Finance or related field -OR- APICS certification
    • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Planner in the consumer goods industry or similar

    Who You Are:

    • Sound knowledge of supply chain processes: manufacturing, demand and supply planning, sourcing and logistics.
    • Strong collaboration skills to develop rapport and credibility with cross functional and external partners
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy within systems and tools
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Experience using, and preferably implementing, ERP systems
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications to access information, analyze data and solve problems
    • Willing to travel 5-10% for plant/supplier visits, team retreats, and conferences
    • Have a genuine interest health and wellbeing
