    JOB DESCRIPTION
    We need: Two senior Java Developers with extensive experience working with Capital Markets and Fixed Income/Front Office Trading (Candidates need experience with both Buy and Sell sides and have experience with TRADE EXECUTION) . Candidates must be in the Midtown NYC (Grand Central) Office three times a week. **Candidates must have Long Projects/Good Tenure, Excellent communication skills and a State issued ID (Not Bills) showing they are Local.

    Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for assisting in technical vision and strategic planning of all aspects of software solutions for Front Office suite of applications.
    • The role will be a key contributor to enhance and maintain our trading system that supports our front office operations for Trade analysis, PNL attribution and reconciliation, risk management and reporting.
    Qualifications:
    Software developer with experience in Front Office Risk System covering Fixed Income.
    At least 5 years of experience in Java development and proven knowledge of computer science concepts including concurrency, algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems

    Required:
    • Experience in Fixed Income risk and pricing applications
    • Experience working with a global team
    • Proactive self-starter able to take initiative and get things done
    • Experienced in delivering end user applications or platform technology/API from design to production
    • Strong core Java development skills
    • Extensive experience and proven understanding of distributed systems, developing, debugging, profiling and maintaining multi-threaded/asynchronous applications.
    • JVM monitoring, performance tuning, using tools such as JConsole, JVisualVM, JProfiler, Java Mission Control.
    Preferred
    • Experience working with the business on a day-to-day basis
    • Experience working with Front Office Quant Developers
