The system dialysis technician works very closely with the dialysis nurses and nephrologists in providing dialysis treatments in the acute care setting.
The system dialysis technician must possess thorough knowledge of how to operate the dialysis machine and how it affects the human body, have the ability to respond quickly and properly to an emergency situation, display excellent organizational skills, and be very detail oriented.
This person must also possess strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills and good active listening abilities, contributing to a healthy team environment.
