    This position offers an exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to be part of a firm with water/wastewater expertise in a small company environment. We seek an experienced Inside Sales Representative to promote and sell parts, retrofits, and services to an established customer base with exclusive products and territory.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Interpret and analyze customer's inquiries via quotations, applications, deliveries, orders, complaints, pricing, etc. while establishing and maintaining personal positive rapport with customers
    • Acquire, process, and track order progress through billing and collections
    • Ability to verbally & electronically communicate with others in a positive professional manner at all times
    • Provide parts support and technical assistance to customers and company personnel
    • Attend meetings, and webinars, participate in technical conventions and expos, and attend vendor training seminars

    Qualifications:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily as well as possess the following skills:

    • Customer service oriented with the compassion to help solve problems
    • Strong professional communication and negotiation skills
    • Highly detailed, with exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills
    • Able to read and interpret technical documentation and specifications
    • Working knowledge of Sage 100 is a plus
    • Associate Degree in the Water/Wastewater field or hands-on training in the industry is a plus
    • Mechanical/Electrical aptitude with a general knowledge of basic tools and their use is a plus
