- Perform identification (ID) testing, including Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and composition testing, ensuring compliance with USP monographs and general chapters.
- Conduct wet chemistry testing, such as loss on drying, Karl Fischer titration, pH measurements, titrations, and solution preparations.
- Support daily laboratory operations by cleaning glassware, disposing of solvent waste, and calibrating balances on a regular basis.
- Assist upper-level Quality Control Chemists as needed with their tasks and projects.
- Utilize instruments like High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and/or Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) for strength testing.
- Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule, including availability to work holidays and weekends as requested by Quality Control Lab Supervisor/Management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Lab Supervisor or management.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific Discipline
- 6 - 18 months of experience in a GLP setting (Chemist Level ll Opening for anyone with 2+ years of experience with HPLC)
