    Energy Project Manager
    Remote


    Require only 3 to 6 years a project manager with Engineering background.

    This is non IT position ( anyone coming from Information Technology background will not be a fit)

    Has demonstrated ability to effectively head working groups or program teams.
    Provides guidance to junior staff when appropriate and can supervise the day-to-day work of interns.
    Has full confidence of peers and superiors.
    People skills have developed to show leadership and an ability to motivate others.


    Communication Skills & External Relations

    Has demonstrated ability to produce both written material and verbal presentations that are direct, recognize and focus on issues, are both comprehensive and concise and require editing only in most sensitive and complex areas.

    Can negotiate effectively with contractors and interface effectively with customers and other outside contacts.
    Has demonstrated ability to prepare and present papers at professional meetings, seminars, and conferences.


    IT systems that will be used : NEIS, Salesforce, SharePoint, Buildings Portal, Tableau


    The successful candidate will need to have the following skills:
    Project management skills and the ability to successfully multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Manage scope, schedule and budget of project agreements and other program support agreements.
    Support strategic market engagement and partnership development.
    Facilitate and execute continuous improvement of program rules, and business processes.
    Excellent external and customer communications (written and verbal) skills.
    Must be a self-starter and function well independently and in teams.

    Must be a high level Microsoft Excel user, and be able to perform Pivot tables, advanced formulas, and advanced data analysis of complex data sets.

    Excellent organizational skills.
    High level Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot tables, graphing, and other advanced formulas and functions.
    Highly motivated self-starter.


    Day to day work will include, but not be limited to:
    Managing projects from initiation to completion; including scope, schedule, and budgets.
    Manage and develop relationships & increase coordination with key stakeholders.

    Manage contractors and program support agreements; - Resolve issues which may arise regarding assigned projects with applicants or consultants.

    Support the development and refinement of PONs and RFPs.
    Make recommendations for improvements to NYSERDA's strategies and business processes.
    Support program reporting,
    Other duties as assigned to support the key outcomes for the Efficiency Planning and Engineering Team.
